Cellular / Lean Parts Washers

Jenfab has developed several standard part washers designed specifically for use in Lean Manufacturing Work Cells. These compact energy efficient part cleaners use environmentally safe water based solutions to remove machining oils and stamping lubricants making these machines ideal for Green Manufacturing compliance.

The Jenfab 360-1 is a front loading rotating basket industrial parts washer designed to clean one basket of parts at a time. It is Ideal for general parts washing as well as precision cleaning of screw machined parts, cnc machined parts, fine blanked parts and stampings. Ultrasonic cleaning is added for critical cleaning of complex shaped parts including fuel system components, hydraulic valve bodies, Swiss Screw Machine parts, orthopaedic implant cleaning and medical device part cleaning. The Lean Clean 360-2; 360-4; 360-8 Models clean two, four and eight baskets respectively.

The Flex Cell 360 is a top loading aqueous cleaning parts washer system available in two configurations. The TT Model is a rotating turntable part washer with sprays located above and below the parts. The RB Model is a rotating basket washer which offers both spray and immersion cleaning. The baskets rotate partially submerged in solution where under water spray jets help clean blind holed parts and parts with complex geometries.

The Jenfab OPW is an ergonomically designed Front Loading Cabinet Spray Washer. This Jenfab innovative parts cleaning system is designed for use in work cells in Lean Manufacturing environments or as a stand alone parts washer for batch type cleaning. This parts washer removes machining oils and chips from parts by continually moving the parts back and forth through a powerful overlapping spray cleaning system.

The Indexing Turntable Part Washer is a compact Aqueous Spray cleaning machine designed for one piece at a time part washing. Parts are loaded by robot or by hand onto a rotating fixture which indexes on a timed cycle from three seconds and up. Parts index into high pressure spray zones which remove machining chips and oils while cleaning out small holes and passages. The parts are indexed through a spray wash which uses aqueous chemistry or coolant. After spray washing the parts index, either to a spray rinse stage or directly to a high pressure self contained blow off station.

The Vertical Chain Conveyor Part Washer is ideal for one piece at a time In Line Parts Washing combining both spray washing and agitated immersion cleaning with part drying in one small foot print. The VCC is ideal for Lean Manufacturing Cellular part cleaning operations. It is available as a front loading part washer for standalone cellular cleaning operations. Parts can be loaded and unloaded from the front or loaded from the front and unloaded out the rear.

Jenfab LJ Rotary Drum Aqueous parts washers are standard economically priced small compact self contained machines that clean parts fed on a continuous basis. Ideal for inline cleaning from stamping presses, cold headers, thread rollers molding, dies casting and screw machines or for installation as stand alone cellular parts washers. A combination of spray cleaning and immersion cleaning is used to clean the parts as they gently rotate inside the drum. The 15" diameter drum processes up to 5 cubic feet/hour of parts while the 19" diameter drum processes from 10-20 cubic feet/hour of parts. These standard machines are available with one or more tanks for various process including parts washing, passivating, wax coating and drying.

This is the most versatile, compact, energy efficient conveyorized spray washer available. The flexible design offers up to three tanks for washing, rinsing, and rust prevention/sealing. The energy efficient dryer incorporates a regenerative blow off with stainless steel air knives. The tanks and housing are 304 stainless steel for longest life and lowest maintenance.
